SUPPORT A CHAPTER AS A STEWARD
If you’re looking to do a little more for your chapter, becoming a Steward is the perfect way to contribute. You’ll take on one part of the work that helps your chapter thrive.
Quick note before you begin:
We ask that Stewards be active volunteers who’ve baked or delivered a cake within the last 6 months. Not there yet? That’s okay! Start by volunteering first - it helps you understand how our system works before jumping into the behind-the-scenes side.
VOLUNTEER STEWARD
Support and appreciate the bakers in your chapter! You’ll help welcome new volunteers, celebrate milestones, and make sure our cake-makers feel seen, valued, and connected.
You’re not managing signups or assigning cakes - just spreading kindness, answering occasional questions, and helping volunteers feel like part of the Sprinkle Squad.
Commitment: ~2–5 hours/week for 18 months
Includes a small symbolic fundraising expectation of $500 per year (don’t worry, we’ll guide you!)
AGENCY LOGISTICS STEWARD
Help maintain strong relationships with the local agencies we serve - the ones that request cakes for kids. You’ll confirm cake requests came through properly, help update contacts, and make sure things stay smooth on the agency side.
You're the friendly, reliable check-in that keeps partnerships running without hiccups.
Commitment: ~5–8 hours/week for 18 months
No fundraising is required due to the higher number of hours per week required for this role.
DONOR STEWARD
Support the local fundraising efforts that keep your chapter running. You'll help thank donors, track acknowledgments, and pitch in on fundraising campaigns as needed. This role is vital for sustainability!
You don’t need to be a pro fundraiser - just someone who’s reliable, thoughtful, and excited to help people feel appreciated for supporting our mission.
Commitment: ~2–4 hours/week for 12 months
Includes a $5,000 annual fundraising goal, with tools and support from our team
Who We’re Looking For:
Active, kind humans who follow through
Some comfort with basic tech tools
A willingness to jump in and help a team thrive
What You’ll Do:
Handle communications and coordination in your focus area
Use simple tools (email, Slack, Google Sheets)
Check in monthly with questions, results, or general what’s up
