SUPPORT A CHAPTER AS A STEWARD

If you’re looking to do a little more for your chapter, becoming a Steward is the perfect way to contribute. You’ll take on one part of the work that helps your chapter thrive.

Quick note before you begin:

In chapters with a high volume of bakes, Stewards are typically volunteers who’ve baked or delivered a cake within the last six months. If that’s not you yet, that’s totally okay! Volunteering first helps you get familiar with how everything works before jumping into Steward responsibilities. And for newer chapters with fewer bakes available, we’re happy to make exceptions.

VOLUNTEER STEWARD

Support and appreciate the bakers in your chapter by welcoming new volunteers, celebrating milestones, answering occasional questions, and helping everyone feel like a valued member of the Sprinkle Squad!

Help organize at least one in-person volunteer appreciation event to celebrate and connect your local baking community.

Commitment: ~4–7 hours/week for an 18 month term, varying by week.

In most cases, this role includes a fundraising expectation of up to $500 per year - we’ll guide you every step of the way.

AGENCY STEWARD

Help build and maintain strong relationships with the local agencies we serve that request cakes for kids. You'll monitor requests from agencies, field questions, and make sure things stay smooth on the agency side. You're the friendly, reliable liaison that forms the backbone of our agency partnerships.

Commitment: ~4–7 hours/week for an 18 month term, varying by week.

No fundraising is required due to the higher number of hours per week required for this role.

DONOR STEWARD

Support the local fundraising efforts that keep your chapter running. You'll help thank donors, track acknowledgments, and pitch in on fundraising campaigns as needed. This role is vital for sustainability!

You don’t need to be a pro fundraiser - just someone who’s reliable, thoughtful, and excited to help people feel appreciated for supporting our mission.

Commitment: ~2–4 hours/week for a 12 month term, varying by week.

Includes a $5,000 annual fundraising goal, with tools and support from our team

A willingness to jump in and help a team thrive

What You’ll Do:

Handle communications and coordination in your focus area
Use simple tools (email, Slack, Google Sheets)
Check in monthly with questions, results, or general what’s up
